Comprehensive Safety Training and Safety Meetings Importance of Safety Training

The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act of 1970 requires employers to provide a safe and healthy workplace. OSHA's mission is to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and deaths. They achieve this by setting and enforcing standards, and crucially, by providing safety training through outreach training, and education, assistance.

Many OSHA standards include specific safety training requirements. For your reference, OSHA provides detailed information on training requirements within their standards.

As part of OSHA's mission to protect workers, comprehensive safety training is essential.
