SCS Safety Health & Security Associates in conjunction with Moon River Nursing Careers are offering monthly Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Courses. Our certification courses are taught by hybrid blended learning method.
ASHI Advanced Cardiac Life Support program is a scenario (case-based) continuing education ACLS course intended for trained and skilled healthcare providers who either direct or participate in cardiopulmonary emergencies and resuscitation efforts. This ACLS certification course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to enhance and refine knowledge and hands-on skill proficiency in emergency cardiovascular care. ASHI’s ACLS training program conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.

All participants must be previously trained, skilled and be able to:
- Perform high-quality basic life support (BLS) Healthcare Provider (BCLS) Certification.

- Read and interpret basic electrocardiograms (ECGs)
- Understand cardiovascular pharmacology, prepare and administer essential cardiovascular medications
Successful completion (certification)
- Written evaluation: Successful completion requires a correct score of 75% or better.
- Performance evaluation: Students must successfully complete a performance evaluation of the following:
– High-quality BLS (CPR/AED)
– Respiratory arrest
– Cardiac rhythm management including pulseless
VT/VF/Asystole and 2 other rhythms
Compliance Information: ASHI Certification, is the same as an AHA certification based on:
ASHI resuscitation training programs conform to the ILCOR 2015 Consensus of Science, and the 2015 AHA Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science. ASHI resuscitation programs meets the standards of Joint Commission, are accepted as equivalent to the AHA by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, the Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the United State Coast Guard Health Services Program, among others. ASHI, like American Heart Association (AHA) is a nationally accredited organization of the Emergency Medical Services Continuing Education Hours (CAPCE is the national accrediting body for EMS continuing education. ASHI educational programs are CAPCE approved. ASHI is a member of the National First Aid Science Advisory Board, co-founded by the American Red Cross and American Heart Association®, Inc. (AHA), and a participant in the International Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2015 International Conference on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations, hosted by the AHA.
ASHI’s Advanced Cardiac Life Support Program content is based upon the following science, treatment recommendations, and guidelines: • 2015 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science with Treatment Recommendations. • 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
ACLS COURSE LOCATION AND COST
Course is taught by Hybrid Blended Learning method. The online course is 8-hours. Hands-on skills and testing is 6 to 8 hours.
ACLS Provider (Full Course) $210 per person – Price includes online course link, web-based student book, certification card, and course supplies.
ACLS Provider (Recertification) $150 per person – Price includes online course link, web-based student book, certification card, and course supplies.
2-year certifications, Continuing Education Credits available for Nurses and EMS Personnel.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Our ACLS certification courses are taught by blended learning, and is divided into two parts: The classroom lecture will be done online, and the hands-on practical skills and testing. By purchasing this course, you agree and understand that the online course must be completed within 48-hours (2-days) of the date you have selected above (hands-on class date).
REFUNDS POLICY: There are no refunds. If you are unsure as to the level of CPR you should register for, please call us. We will help you. If you are not committed in attending the class, please wait until you are.
Our class size is limited to eight (8) students. This is to ensure we have proper student to instructor ratio. We understand there maybe a need to reschedule class. Please understand, when you register for a class, you are taking a “seat” for the class. When you reschedule, it may leave a seat open, that could have been occupied by someone else. We do not oversell our classes.
If you need to reschedule, you will need to be registered into another class, within 45-days of your original class date.
If the day of class, the online portion of the class is started but not completed, OR not started at all, and you request to change to another class date, there will be a $30 service charge.
PLEASE NOTE: The class must have enough participants (minimum of 5) in order to proceed. If there are not enough participants for a particular class, students will be seated for the next available class. SCS Safety Health and Security Associates reserve the right to cancel a class at anytime for any reason.
